The other day I had a friend of mine teach me about alternate picking. I should mention that this friend of mine is actually a guitar master, and is highly respected in the Dallas music scene.  I first met him by selling him a left handed guitar that I was trying to get rid of.  After not being able to find somebody for almost a month, this guy was able to not only buy the one guitar but give me guitar lessons.  This guy has become a great friend and somebody that I really respect. Not only for what he knows, but who he is.
