I think that, in this day and age, having ergonomic office furniture is highly beneficial in keeping the enthusiasm and productivity of your workers from running low. Many studies have already proven the correlation of health and performance. Ergonomists truly opened up a lot of doors that allow employees to be even more effective at work. It is true that ergonomic office products cost more than ordinary office furniture. However, I think companies should rather invest on such products than spend them on compensation claims that come from employees you eventually suffer from repetitive stress injuries. Healthy employees are happy employees. And happy employees are productive employees.
