I never thought that I would suffer from any of the problems that I have seen my grandparents and parents suffer from. I am only in my twenties, and have started having some severe hearing problems. The doctor is recommending some digital hearing aids for my situation. I was worried about looking like an old person with those old-fashioned hearing aids in my ears. Thankfully, the doctor assured me that these new ones are invisible and very small, so they are not even seen at all. That makes me feel a little bit better about my situation, but I still do not understand why it has to be this way.
