How To Build Muscle Mass Using An Anabolic Rep Range

Most beginners wonder about how to build muscle mass using the most optimum rep range. More experienced bodybuilders will advice you to restrict yourself to just 8-12 reps per set because this is the most beneficial ‘anabolic rep range.’ When you are lifting real heavy weights, it is difficult to maintain the correct form beyond 2-6 reps. Moreover, such a low rep range will not initiate muscle hypertrophy, although it will aid in building power and muscular strength. However, if you are doing 12-24 reps, then you cannot use very high weights for such a high rep range. This will not aid in muscle building because you are not giving your muscles any purpose to adapt and grow. Therefore, if you want to workout with good form as well as stimulate your muscles to grow large enough, then each time you workout, you must use only as much weight load as would permit you to perform 8-12 reps.
