I am a personal care home administrator. I meet with the families of prospective residents to show them around and answer any questions they may have. A woman recently came in to discuss the possibility of placing her mother in the home. She was concerned with what her mother would be eating, if she were to come and live in the home, because she has diabetes. I showed her a few sample diabetic menus. I told her that we keep a careful eye on what we feed the residents that require special diets.
