Being a professional athlete isn’t nearly as simple or easy as so many of the common fans seem to think it is. Yes, I get to do something I love and have a passion for, but all anybody else gets to see is the games. They don’t see the hard work before that, or the injuries and the pain. I mean, look at me now with a thumb splint on my hand.
