Making your Hot tub energy Efficient

Having a hot tub is a recurring cost. Buying a hot tub is not a single time investment. You have to spend on the maintenance of the hot tub. Moreover, the electricity required to run the hot tub heating up the water requires expenditure.

 

The following tips will help to keep the electricity bill down and save you from over expenditure with energy efficient hot tubs. When you are out on summer vacation and will not return for more than a week keep the thermostat off.

 

Cover up your spa when you are not using it. Covering of the hot tub prevents loss of water and loss of heat. Turning the temperature to one hundred and twenty degrees to heat the water saves energy.
