There are so many espresso machines available these days it can be hard to figure out which one to buy. Especially since you’re spending a decent amount of money to get one! Mind you, the price of a coffee in a coffee shop isn’t cheap these days. And, if you’re not living in a town where there are a lot of good coffee shops within easy distance, it can be an important purchase. I know, when I moved to a rural area after living in a city for most of my life, with so many excellent, traditional Italian style coffee shops on my doorstep, one of the things I missed most was a good cup of coffee.

Well, from reading some consumer reviews, I would narrow the list down to Morphy Richards 47507, which is pretty easy to operate and makes good coffee. Or the Gaggia Coffee Deluxe Espresso & Cappuccino Maker. This one may take a little experimenting to get your coffee as you like it, but makes excellent coffee when you do find your medium.

Then there’s the Rancilio Silvia, which is one of the best non-commercial machines on the market. An espresso coffee maker for the true coffee aficionado.
