You’d think it would be easy: get young Jewish people to meet other young Jews.Not so.According to Stephen Hoffman, president of United Jewish Communities, which is an umbrella organization for US federation of Jews, this is challenging .In fact, one of his group’s biggest challenges. ‘How we connect to them Jewishly is a big challenge,’ he said recently.For a variety of reason, young Jewish people do not naturally come together and socialize and enjoy the company of other Jews and grow a Jewish identity. There is a low  rate of affiliation in the 20 to 40 year age group.Well, there is always the Internet with a jewish dating site or Jewish dating online services.

In fact, there are a number of sites aimed just at young Jewish people. Google has about 57,000 pages all about ‘jewish dating sites’. And these could be a useful starting point for forming larger groups of young Jewish people.

. But they could be the gateway into this sort of special community.
