Well the media can’t make up their mind whether the recession (or is it still a credit crunch) is getting better or getting worse, but I have decided to take some action anyway. I’m one of the lucky ones – I still have a job for now – but I’m going to start an online business as well, with the hope that it will provide me a bit of extra income for the time being and that it might grow into something that could support us if times get hard. It’s still at the concept stage, so I won’t give any more details for now, but I will just say that I already have a domain name and hosting, lined up through GoDaddy because they gave me the best deal.
