Working for a national park can be a rewarding career.  Protecting these treasured monuments and lands carry a big responsibility for those working in this field and those who have jobs in national parks take their positions very seriously.  Some of the responsibilities of employees of national parks are that you must monitor the patrons who come in and out of the parks, making sure that they are paying the utmost respect to the area.  Many people work in maintaining the parks, clearing landscape to stop overgrowth and to protect the parks during forest fire season.  Many national parks have lodges in them which have several positions that you can help contribute to.
