Some people seem to think that telephone harassment is fun. I wonder how much fun it would be if it was them being harassed, or if the person the call went to the cops or a lawyer. Most people don’t seem to realize that telephone harassment isn’t just annoying it is illegal. The penalty can be fines or even jail time. I don’t think you would find $200.00 per call fine to be to funny, or even spending time in jail if you can’t pay the fines. The next time you start thinking about harassing someone over the phone you should think about this.
