When I first built a website, I was convinced that it was so beautifully crafted that it was guaranteed to attract heavy traffic and, of course, make me rich.

Unfortunately, I didn’t even know what heavy traffic actually meant, let alone how to market my site. So it just sat there, quietly waiting for visitors.

It wasn’t long before I figured out that, by using a combination of marketing techniques, such as PPC, email, and links, I could actually increase the number of visitors to my site.

I haven’t really gotten rich yet, but, happily, my site does attract a respectable number of visitors, and I’m feeling much smarter, Internet-wise.
