New to Voice Recognition

Last year, I broke both of my hands water-sporting on lake Michigan. It was not only a painful experience, but it made me anxious about how I was going to support my family. I am a writer for the New York Post, so if I can’t write, I can’t eat. Thanks goodness for IVR software! I didn’t even know that it existed before hand, but I did some research shortly after me accident. The software makes it possible for me to write my articles by talking to my computer. The computer dictates what I say and transposes it into a text editor of my choosing. I wrote a 2000 word editorial six days after I had my casts put on, and all it took was a little practice with my diction. the software I chose needs to be trained for my specific voice, plus I have a slight problem with mumbling. I am extremely happy with the software, but even more grateful for the technology.
