We can only hope that at some point Apple will have a change of heart and allow live video streaming applications to enter the App Store as official apps. The good news though is that that fact does not seem to be stopping the developers from creating such apps says iPod Blog. The latest live video streaming app to offer an update is Flixwagon, and they now offer support for any iPhone running firmware 1.0 or later and firmware 2.0 or later including the iPhone 3G. Of course as this is an unofficial app, your iPhone will need to be jailbroken before Flixwagon can be installed, but thankfully we have plenty of good options such as PwnageTool and WinPwn to handle that task. Flixwagon can be found using either Cydia or Installer 4 and you can find directions for installation here.
