Last week I was finally forced to admit that winter is on the way as I made an emergency dash into a shopping centre to buy an umbrella. Soon the clocks will be going back and those ‘barbeque summer’ nights that seemed to go by so quickly will be a distant memory. That’s fine with me, though, as apparently I can still guarantee myself some sunshine this winter. There are plenty of cheap hotels on offer in some gorgeous winter sun destinations. I’m thinking perhaps the Canary Islands or maybe even Egypt. I can’t wait to pack my bags and get going towards the warmer weather. If I can get a good deal then I’ll be set.
