When you decide that you are going to take a vacation to the Hawaiian island of Lanai and stay there for a few days, you are not faced with a huge list of hotels to pick from like you are when you choose Maui or Oahu. In fact, on Lanai, there are only three real hotels to choose from and two of these are luxury resorts run by the Four Seasons. They are very, very nice. The last choice is the Hotel Lanai which is much smaller, less luxurious, and located in the small central town of Lanai City. This is our favorite because it is quaint, homey, and half the price of the other two hotels.
